Dr. Martens: Worn Different NYC
Everyone remembers their first pair of Dr. Martens. The iconic workwear boot turned fashion staple is basically footwear royalty, looking as fresh on a runway as on a runaway. Looking to the NYC creative community the team at Kamp Grizzly leveraged a group of eight artists and three bands to create a set of images for social and digital that spoke to the authenticity of the brand.
With limited budget, but plenty of Dr. Martens, the artists were shot in their studios, practice spaces and the streets of NYC. The artists provided original artwork inspired by their love of Dr. Martens and attendees flocked for a chance to see local musicians and artists showcased in the newly opened Baby’s All Right. With lines around the block the event was a massive success and brought the NYC creative community together for a night of celebration.
