Some projects are a direct line from a to b, other projects are so ambitious you have to throw out the map. This was one of those projects. Initially scoped to produce an already revolutionary 3D projected, moving robot installation, and with just five weeks until the event, the client handed the entire installation over to the dotdotdash team to execute. Lighting, projection, staging, a product display area and graphics, not to mention the robot and proprietary 3D projection software meant the team needed to expand and pull together through many late nights to execute this truly one-of-a-kind event.
Working directly with leadership to oversee the creative and production teams meant managing everything from an ever-evolving budget and timeline, to travel, housing and logistics, and even getting the teams laundry washed - whatever it took to get the job done. The project was a huge success and lead to dotdotdash also being awarded The North Face’s Paris fashion show. Nice work team!
